More from Trip Advisor

Nice location and quiet - recommended by cafe owner in Beziers as had to leave previous hotel due to smells. Nice owners, great food. Price was a bit steep compared to being in town (30 euro difference) but free bottle of wine was welcomed.
Would you recommend this hotel to a friend? Yes

Nice to see again we are doing things right.

And as for the bad review from a bizzare named unidentified person(s), well lets just say if they are who we think they are these people never actually stayed having cancelled their booking at the last minute. Funny that. We have asked TA to remove this ludicrous review.

Viva la France!

Dear All

Still waiting on photographs from Bastille Eve and the fireworks display. Actually in this modern age of technology that is a lie- I just haven;t had time to upload the digi camera thing to the whatsit, download and then sort the things. But it was a good night I can assure you. That is one of the great things of living in France - the passion of the French when it comes to celebrating their heritage or whatever come to that whereas the British folk tend to be more subdued.

We took some guests to a fabulous music festival at Sevignan, if anyone can let us know the name of the group performing that would be a help, a duo female one male combo.

And so onto this week, its currently 35c, hot, a nice breeze and two guests are sunbathing and showering in our newly installed garden shower, ideal for the hot season - I am in the middle of making of ice cream and mint tea. I think it should be the other way round don't you?

Summer Sun

Thanks to all who attended the post Tour De France party in the garden and also Monday nights spectacular firework display in Beziers - magnificent - now I know where all my taxes go! The season is well and truly here with more and more non French cars around the local villages and a whole array of languages spoken over the dinner table. We will be spending the weekend with friends and guests on the beach for an all night barbecue and drinks celebration. If you wish to join us let me know.
Love x

Beziers Airport - New Information For All Visitors

Beziers airport has safeguarded the Luton and Bristol flights for this coming winter.

At the moment the schedule looks like;-

LUTON – Saturday and Tuesday
BRISTOL Monday and Friday

See post below for new times (subject to change)

Many other airports, further north, may struggle to keep a winter service running this winter as Ryanair plans to ground a fair number of planes – caused by the ailing pound and the depth of the UK recession. Dusseldorf line starts soon and is reportedly nearly full until the middle of August.

BEZIERS AIRPORT - parking

Charges for car parking start on the 13th July for two reasons. One is revenue as they have greatly increased the parking spaces to improve access for travellers. The other, and understandably, too many cars have been left for a week or more blocking up the limited space. Leaving desperate passengers with no-where to park. Don’t even think about parking alongside the rail track as robust wooden posts are being installed now.
